This year we wanted to highlight our wonderful Raising Twenty1 community. We had an online initiative “This is me”. Our families sent us videos and messages celebrating their children and talking about why World Down Syndrome Day is important to them.
We also continued our awareness campaign by going into schools and hosting assemblies to lots of children and staff about Down Syndrome. For the first time we took our assembly into secondary schools and the feedback was very positive.
We were also fortunate to have some kind donations from friends of Raising Twenty1 and local schools. These donations are always appreciated and help us continue providing services to as many families as we can.
