World Down Syndrome Day 2019 was a roaring success for Andover Twenty1. We were proud to welcome more than 17 local schools including John Hansen, which hosted a tasty cake sale as well as joining the odd socks initiative, St John the Baptist and Portway. The fun spread outside our hometown too with Amesbury C of E and Woodford School, among others, also participating.
Local businesses included Tot city, Jo Jingles, HSBC, QinetiQ at Boscombe Down alongside the wonderful Yellow Dot and Farley nurseries. We even had great contribution from a golf club in Birmingham! Next year Australia . . . joking aside we raised in excess of £3,500 to support our mission to help local children with Down’s syndrome achieve their full potential.

We have had a record number of schools taking part all helping to raise vital funds for Andover Twenty1 to facilitate our regular support groups and educational services. We’re also delighted to have been invited into many schools to talk to the children about Down’s syndrome. We are feeling blessed to be in the midst of such a great community.’
